1. About KonyTimer
KonyTimer is an iOS focus timer presented as a playful comic laboratory. It lets you run timed experiments, complete missions, earn virtual star coins, personalize themes and sounds, and maintain a researcher profile.
2. Eligibility and Account Access
You must be legally permitted to use the app and to accept these terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you.
Where Sign in with Apple is offered, Apple manages the authentication process under its own terms. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Apple ID and device. Do not attempt to access another person's account or device data.
Acceptable Use
You may use KonyTimer only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not:
- interfere with the app, its security, StoreKit transactions, or normal operation;
- attempt to reverse engineer, modify, automate, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful profile or feedback content; or
- misrepresent purchases, manipulate virtual balances, or use the app for fraud.
3. Your Content and Local Data
You retain responsibility for the profile name, photo, voice message, and feedback text you create. You grant KonyTimer only the limited permission necessary to display and process that content within the app.
Most app content and progress are stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining any device backup you want. Removing the app, deleting its data, changing devices, or using the in-app deletion option may permanently remove local information.
4. Star Coins and In-App Purchases
Star coins are virtual items available only inside KonyTimer. They have no cash value, are not legal currency or property, and cannot be sold, transferred, redeemed for money, or used outside the app.
Optional star coin packs are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. Prices and taxes are shown by the App Store before confirmation. Apple processes payment and applies its Media Services Terms and refund policies. Purchase availability and displayed prices may vary by storefront.
We may correct a virtual balance affected by an invalid, refunded, reversed, duplicated, or technically erroneous transaction. Deleting local app data may remove a consumable star coin balance, and consumable items may not be restorable through Apple.
5. Intellectual Property
KonyTimer, including its software, visual design, text, sounds, characters, and other app materials, is owned by or licensed to the app operator and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for personal purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
6. Availability and Disclaimers
KonyTimer is a productivity and entertainment tool, not medical, health, safety, or professional advice. Do not rely on a timer alert for medication, emergencies, safety-critical activities, or any situation where a missed notification could cause harm.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of any feature, preservation of local data, or that the app will meet every user's requirements. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of local data, loss of virtual items, or losses arising from device settings, interrupted timers, or third-party services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
8. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
You may stop using the app at any time. The in-app Delete Account option erases the user-facing profile and local app progress described in the Privacy Policy. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms.
9. Changes to the App or Agreement
Features may be changed, added, or removed over time. We may update this agreement to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or security needs. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
10. Apple Terms
This agreement is between you and the KonyTimer operator, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the applicable App Store and Apple Media Services terms.
